The Big Story Behind Little Mikey's

After fifteen years of towing and hauling cars and large equipment with his father-in-law, Jake Delano decided it was time to turn his dream of running his own towing and transport company into reality. He built up considerable experience during those years towing vehicles out of some precarious positions in the wind, rain, snow, and sleet.

Cars crashed at the bottoms of mountains, trucks wrapped around trees, vehicles destroyed and flipped upside down, even several cars overturned and mostly submerged in rivers- these were the types of missions Jake and his companion set off on regularly. Thankfully, no situation was too tough for them to figure out and Jake benefited greatly from his father-in-law’s forty years of experience.

Jake finally decided it was time to put this experience to good use; in the spring of 2018, he founded Little Mikey’s Towing & Transport Services LLC. After acquiring all of the necessary equipment and certifications, he is ready to serve people in need of local or long-distance towing. But why the name and who is Little Mikey?

Little Mikey, a black and white Chihuahua, is Jake’s best friend and business sidekick- or is it the other way around? He accompanies Jake on every job, rain or shine, to provide instructions and make sure that Jake is doing everything according to his expectations.

Before Mikey became the co-manager of Little Mikey’s Towing & Transport Services LLC, he was abandoned on the streets of Baltimore and found himself sitting in a shelter for a long time. After months of rehabilitation and training with The Balanced Dog LLC, Mikey is back in business! He loves to ride on all of the equipment and enjoys getting bounced around, especially on Jake’s tractor, four wheeler, and backhoe. He’s come a long way from stressed out shelter dog to loving companion; after all the hardship, Little Mikey found his best friend when he met Jake.

So Jake decided to name the business after Mikey and promised the little pup that he’d take him on all of his jobs. Everywhere Jake goes, he’s bound to be accompanied by a little black and white dog sprawled out in the backseat of the truck, snuggled up in a dog bed in the passenger seat, or running around like crazy at a rest stop. It’s a new adventure for both of them, but as long as they have each other, everything will turn out just fine.
